Coming up this March we have a VERY important referendum at SDSU to pass! We have 35 days until the referendum, and it is going to take a lot of hard work, but I am confident we will do our part to leave our legacy at SDSU with a successful referendum vote!
If you are interested in being trained to be a campaign team leader, please email Tara (TaraKele3@gmail.com) immediately because the training dates are coming up this week!
We have a great group of volunteers with varying levels of familiarity with the project. It is the goal to fully educate and empower all of you so that you can feel comfortable and confident to go out and rally the student body to vote in the referendum, and vote YES! Every Campaign Team Leader must attend at least one of the training sessions.
Training sessions:
- Saturday 2/6 @ 10am in Council Chambers
- Tuesday 2/9 @ 7pm in Montezuma Hall
Please arrive on time, and be prepared to be there for 2 hours. It is highly encouraged to attend the Saturday training as that will be the main one. The Tuesday training is only meant as a backup option. If you cannot attend either of those times, please email me back and I will work out a time for you to meet individually with Jeremy Katz, the of AS.
Additionally, the Campaign Team will be meeting weekly on Fridays @ 1pm in Presidential Suite, starting this Friday, 2/5. This is not a mandatory meeting, but it is highly encouraged that you attend, as we will be reconvening as a team and strategizing and giving any necessary updates.
Please check out the updated ModernSpace web site at http://www.as.sdsu.edu/modern_space/ to familiarize yourself with the project before you attend the trainings. We will provide all the necessary materials you will need to give the presentations and table on the walkway. Please bring your schedule to the trainings to assist Tracie in coordinating the presentation schedule.
Again, Associated Students greatly appreciates your participation in this monumental referendum. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
